Marc Lavoine started his artistic career at 16 when he decided to pursue a career in the theater. And it is by making the opener at Olympia that he has THE revelation : he will be an artist. He released his first album in 1985 thanks to the contribution of Fabrice Aboulker, his composer. First album and masterpiece because the album contains the Singles "Elle a les yeux révolver", "Le parking des anges" and "Bascule avec moi", Singles which will quickly become hits. In 1987 his duet with Catherine Ringer of Rita Mitsouko gives a surprising and high-flying result. "Qu'est-ce que t'es belle" is the first in a long list of duets that will mark the artist's entire career. In 1989, he released his third album "Les amours du dimanche" which notably contained "C’est la vie", a Single which had a good esteem success. And 1990 will see the release of the sublime "Chère amie", a flagship Single also from the same album. Several other albums will follow over the period 90 and 2000, but that is another story and will be the subject of other articles ... Anyway, he is one of the few singers of the 80s who is still active and has never gone out of fashion. As with him, we can largely count them on the fingers ... with one hand. 1984 ... the first title went completely unnoticed. Which will not be the case with this one. But difficult to imagine yet at this stage the incredible career that awaits him ... but the potential is there, it's clear !

1984 ... the HUGE hit which changed everything and exploded its notoriety overnight. Here he simply signs one of the most beautiful pieces of the 80s on the French side. MAS-TER-FUL !

1985 ... his skills for the Intimist register are far above average and he proves it title after title. And that's just the beginning !

1986 ... the rise is evident from year to year and nothing, and no one, can not stop this ascent. The steamroller is on !

1986 ... the hits start to pass at an impressive speed. The singer becomes one of the biggest phenomena of the moment and it is widely deserved

1987 ... he now alternates Intimist titles and Dance titles with disconcerting ease. And this one, in the Intimist area is undoubtedly one of his most inspired. MA-GIC !

1987 ... every title released now immediately turns into gold. The singer becomes a real war machine !

1988 ... the hellish duo which brings together 2 of the biggest stars of the moment on the French side. All on an absolutely sumptuous title which inevitably sublimates them and which will remain as one of the most beautiful titles of the decade on the French side. HU-GE !

1988 ... an inspiration which is constantly renewed and which allows him to chain titles of very large calibers at a staggering speed. A real phenomenon !

1989 ... surely one of his best titles of the 80s decade. A decade that ends for him in the best way possible and which augurs a decade 90 of the most interesting !

1989 ... even if this title will not be classified, exceptional fact concerning him, it remains nonetheless of great quality. The end of a decade that ends smoothly, as he knows so well how to do it ...

1990 ... the WONDER ! He unquestionably signs here one of the most beautiful songs of the French repertoire of this end of the XXth century with this absolutely sumptuous title which magically suspends time. MO-NU-MEN-TAL !

1990 ... undoubtedly one of the most beautiful versatility of all French artists combined. He alternates the tempos in a masterful way and creates each time the event

1990 ... this one is also quite in the Intimist jewel style. And that's without counting on all those that will follow ... because he does not intend to stop there, it's clear

1991 ... a year with only one title, something extremely rare for him. But whatever the case, whether there is a plethora of titles or the minimum union, the quality is Premium !

1992 ... even if the level remains very high, we feel that the inspiration weakens somewhat. A slight air gap that will increase in future years ...

2001...it didn't take long to see him find his way back to success. Admittedly, we cannot speak of a frank and massive success, but all the same...

2001...it's THIS title that will put him back in the race in a spectacular way to say the least. He delivers here a duo of shock and charm that works perfectly, to say the least...

2002...the year 2001 will have seen him sign one of the most glamorous duets of the decade and 2001 will see him put the cover back in stride. But not on this title...

2002...decidedly, the duets of shock and charm succeeded to the highest point during this decade 2000. Paradoxically, this duo will be less well ranked than the previous one but will undoubtedly remain as the most striking of the 2...

2003 ... all the lights are green in the middle of the 2000s and everything smiles on him as if by magic. He was able to adapt perfectly to the latest musical trends of the moment and therefore resumed his natural position at the head of the race...

2005...an empty year 2004 and return in a certain form in this year 2005. Sufficient in any case to keep him in contact with the best and above all to show that he will still have to count on him in the years to come...

2006...everything goes perfectly and nothing comes to hinder his winning adventure during this decade. Hope it lasts as they say...

2006...while everything was going for the best, the machine will seize up somewhat from this year 2006. A slow but irreversible deceleration that he will have great difficulty in stopping...

2006...another enormous duo of shock and charm and which however did not really meet the same level of success as the duos which preceded it at the beginning of the decade. Sometimes you don't have to try to understand...

2007...we find it this time in 100 % male duo mode. Good job once again but with a somewhat limited influence...

2007...we suspected that by bringing together these 2 gifted people from the French music scene, the result would be up to par. And it definitely is !

2009...success returns but in a rather furtive way. We're not going to lie to each other, the best years are well and truly behind...

2009...a 2000 decade that ends with finesse. A decade that will have seen him return to the race and then lose ground on the race lead irretrievably...

2010...it remains to be seen what this new decade has in store for it. Will he succeed in keeping himself afloat or will he sink body and soul and definitively join the former colleagues on the sidelines. Good question...

2010...it is clear that 2010 will not remain as its best vintage. But it's far from being ridiculous so there's no reason for it to disappear overnight without leaving an address...

2010...a completely improbable title, especially when you see who accompanies him on this title. Who could have imagined that Valérie the wacky was going to push the song with him, not many people that's for sure...

2012...business picks up somewhat with this title. This proves to him that he is absolutely right to believe in it again and again and that he has every interest in continuing the adventure, come what may...

2012... you still have to remember that he almost reached 30 years of career. An exceptional longevity reserved for the greatest as always...

2013... he can no longer create the event during this decade as he has done during the other decades. But given what he continues to offer, we take it anyway !

2016... the duos bring him luck but so do the trios. Admittedly, this title will not end up No.1 in the French Top50, but it will know a destiny in the Charts quite flattering to say the least...

2016...titles with Cœur De Pirate which are far from the musical standards of the moment but which still work very well. Like what, it's all about musical inspiration...

2018...an strange decade with daring titles that radically contrast with what he has done in the past. And why not tell me...

2018...but whatever the level of success of the titles in the Charts, he in any case continues to believe in it. And we with necessarily...

2019...and here he is, quietly ending his 4th decade of career. A decade 2010 which will have seen him succeed in maintaining himself at the highest level but just as they say. Watch out for the next decade...

2019... whatever it is, he still manages to surprise us and produce titles with more than certain originality. Once again the proof with this title...

2020...and here he is for a 5th decade, who would have believed it when he released his first title in 1983. It remains to be seen whether this decade will definitely be one of too many or on the contrary that of renewal. The future will tell us...

2020...he couldn't escape the 'special COVID' song. So here he is with some friends to pay tribute to health professionals. Nothing exceptional but a nice tribute in any case...
