Not much information about Claire d´Asta other than the fact that she is a French singer-songwriter who will stay mainly in the musical history of the 80s for the high-caliber Single "La chanson de Prévert" released in 1981.
As such, she deserved this article.

Tracks :
1981 ... a single title, THIS title, was enough to offer the singer a direct ticket to posterity. And this despite a style and a sound that have nothing to do with the new standards of the moment. Like what, in music, everything is possible !
1982 ... unfortunately, the result will be much less favorable. What will have worked on one title will not work on the others. Hard law of the trade ...
1982 ... and yet what she presents is not ridiculous. But her style is really too out of step with the new expectations of the public ....
1982 ... which is all the more surprising is this Country musical base, completely atypical for the time in France. In the USA, she had a chance to exist. Much more difficult in France ...
1983 ... it is clear that the singer's career risks being seriously shortened under these conditions. Without a radical change of style in the shortest possible time, existing at the highest level will be purely and simply mission impossible ...
1984 .... it feels like a semblance of a change of style, but unfortunately it is already too late. The delay with the competition is now impossible to fill ...
1984 ... chase the natural, it comes back at a gallop. The singer did not know how to take the measure of the imperative changes necessary and the price to pay will be a somewhat premature end of career ...
1994 ... we find her surprisingly almost 10 later on this soundtrack of the film 'L'ange noir'. At the limit of the lyric, she delivers a title which literally floats in the air and which shows a face of her for the least astonishing. A ray of sunshine far too late ...
