Muriel Dacq, whose real name is Muriel Desclée de Maredsous, is a Belgian singer who will remain mainly in the musical history of the 80s for the enormous hit Dance "Tropique". Single which will set fire to all Dancefloors in France during 1986 and which will sell more than 800,000 copies !
She will also make herself famous by writing the lyrics to another mega-hit performed not by her, but by the group 'Léopold Nord & Vous', namely the now cult "C''est l'amour". It must be said that Alec Mansion, one of the band members, is none other than her husband.
She will release other Singles thereafter which will not know the success of "Tropique".

Tracks :
1985 ... a beginning of career on Intimist bases which leaves nothing to imagine the enormous continuation which is announced on the horizon. For now, it's nice but there is still work, it's obvious...
1986 ... a title that has nothing to do with the previous one. And which blatantly shows the singer's 'Dance' potential. A potential that will literally explode on the next title ...
1986 ... just a single title, THIS title, was enough to bring the singer into the musical legend of the 80s. Here she simply signs one of the biggest dance hits of the 80s on the French side. The Dancefloor of France still remember it. MAS-TER-FUL !
1986 ... a parenthesis that sees little Murielle join forces with Léopold on a Dance song that spins at the speed of light. It pulses !
1987 ... back on the front of the stage with a title which works rather well but which will not meet the colossal success of 'Tropique'. Unable to repeat the exploit unfortunately ...
1989 ... the end of the decade is somewhat lacking in inspiration and it is not this title that will allow the singer to come to the surface. The minimum union ...
1990...and yet it's not for lack of trying. We start again in Dance mode but the tempo is not everything. It is clear that the best is now behind...
1991...a Dance version of the ultra classic Christmas title which is surprising to say the least. It at least has the merit of originality, to say the least...
1995 ... a last title to close an adventure which nevertheless produced one of the biggest hits of the 1980s. That's it already !
