Dominoe is a German band founded in 1987 in Grafing and originally composed of Jörg Sieber, Robert Papst, Angie Buchzyk, Fred Neudert, Heinz (Rick) Schulz and Johnny Rhode.
Group which will be noticed from its beginnings with the title “Here I am”, title which will be found in an advertisement for the French Renault R5.
Huge success that they unfortunately did not manage to reissue with the titles “Let’s talk about life” and “Familly man” a year later in 1988, titles taken from their first album “Keep in touch” which would be released the same year.
A poor performance which did not prevent them from releasing a new album "The Key" two years later in 1990, an album also with moderate success.
Repeated poor performances which will seal the fate of the group, which will eventually separate in the process.
Sieber will then release a solo album under the pseudonym Jay Seever, an album which will not do better than his previous ones.
The group will still end up reborn from its ashes at the start of the 2000s and this time will manage to go the distance with the production of several albums in the years and decades that will follow.

1987...a first title which will project them to the forefront in an unexpected way to say the least thanks to an advertisement for the R5. So it doesn't take much to change your destiny...
1988...unfortunately they will not succeed in riding the enormous wave generated by the previous title, despite an obvious desire to do well...
1988...afterwards the main thing is that we know them and from that side the job is done as they say. It now remains to prove that the enormous success experienced with the first title was not just a stroke of luck...
1990...they will try hard but it will not be enough to bring them back to the forefront as they hoped. Hard law of the trade...
1990...they are not discouraged but accumulating poor performances will not help stabilize the group, especially in the long term...
1990...they will try to hold on no matter what, telling themselves that in music everything is always possible and in principle they are absolutely right...
1990...they just need a little helping hand from destiny to change the situation permanently. A little help that unfortunately won't happen...
1994...the group will end up imploding and we find Jörg Sieber solo under the pseudonym Jay Seever on this new opus...
1994...a solo adventure that won't give much more than the Dominoe adventure. When it doesn't want to, it doesn't want to...
1994...will this title be the last of the adventure ? It could be that no and that the group manages to reform later in a way that is at least unexpected...
2002...which will be the case at the start of the 2000s. A return that no one imagined but which inevitably delights the core fans to the highest extent...
2002...now it remains to be seen whether this return will be lasting or will only last for a flash. Only them can answer it...
2002...if they came back in any case it was because there was room for improvement, as they say. We therefore imagine that they have titles of significant quality in the pipeline...
2008...we will lose sight of them for almost 8 years but here they are again. A desire to believe in it until the end which undoubtedly commands respect...
2008...they plan to not give up at first glance and it doesn't matter whether there is success or not as long as they enjoy doing what they do...
2008...who would honestly blame them ? In music nothing is ever finished and who knows if a return to grace is not to be considered...
2021...there's definitely a gap of 13 years that will separate this title from the previous one but they return once again at the very beginning of the 2020 decade...
2022...a return in keeping with the times as more and more groups like them are also coming back. The rock grandpas are back !
