The Crocodiles is a New Zealand band formed in 1979 and originally composed of Tony Backhouse, Peter Dasent, Fane Flaws, Bruno Lawrence, Mark Hornibrook and Jenny Morris.
Band that released a first album called "Tears" a year later in 1980, album from which will be extracted mainly the Single of the same title and which will have a nice run in the New Zealand Charts.
The same album which will produce a new title “Watcha gonna do” the same year, a Single which will not really have the same fate as its predecessor.
Just like the album "Looking at ourselves" which will also be released the same year and all the Singles that will be extracted from it.
Album which will be the last of the band.

Tracks :
1980...the first title of a group with a very short existence but which will at least have the merit of highlighting future 'greats' of music...
1980...and in their case we will mainly talk about 'great' with Jenny Morris who will have the career that we know in the years that follow...
1980...certainly the group will only produce one hit title and will disappear more quickly than expected but he will at least have had the merit of existing...
1980...often the future 'greats' of the profession start with a first group before exploding at the highest level. Groups often little known to the general public...
1980...it is therefore only fair to bring them back into the light a little, just to remind ordinary mortals that they existed at one time...
1980...even if they never managed to produce major titles, we can't say that there wasn't quality in all that...
1980...they will therefore have largely deserved the fact that we talk about them and in a good way too because there will have been few titles produced but with significant interest, it must be noted...
